Emma and Andy’s wedding at Morden Hall in Wimbledon was a perfect example of how unpredictable weather can create the most memorable photographs. The morning began with heavy rain during the preparations, turning several of the garden paths into what looked like impromptu water features. But just when it mattered most, the skies cleared, the sun broke through, and the whole estate lit up beautifully.
The combination of wet grounds and fresh sunshine gave their images a unique atmosphere — reflections on the paths, soft diffused light under the trees, and rich colours throughout the gardens. We used the elegant interiors of Morden Hall during the rainy start to capture calm, intimate moments, and then moved outside once the weather transformed, making the most of the bright, glistening grounds.
Emma and Andy embraced every part of the day, from the rain‑soaked morning to the glowing afternoon, and the result is a collection of photographs full of character, warmth, and the unmistakable charm of Morden Hall.
