My Lightroom Workflow: A Simple, Repeatable System
The simple Lightroom workflow I use for every shoot — from import to export — designed to save time, reduce decision fatigue, and keep editing enjoyable.
1. Import With Intention
I always import into a clean folder structure, apply a metadata preset, and generate Standard previews. This sets the tone for the entire edit.
2. Cull Quickly Using Flags
Pick the keepers, reject the obvious misses, and don’t overthink it. Speed matters here.
3. Edit in Batches
I start with global adjustments, sync across similar images, then fine‑tune the outliers.
4. Export With Consistency
One export preset for web, one for print. No more fiddling with settings every time.
This workflow has saved me countless hours — and it keeps my editing enjoyable instead of chaotic.
