Why I Built This Website (And What’s Coming Next)

A behind‑the‑scenes look at why I created this site, what I’m trying to achieve, and what’s coming next for Lightroom and Photoshop learners.

I built this website because I wanted a clean, distraction‑free place to teach Lightroom and Photoshop the way I wish I’d learned them. No ads, no clutter, no confusing jargon — just clear, practical tutorials that help people improve their editing.

A Home for Lightroom and Photoshop Learners

There’s a lot of information online, but most of it is either too shallow or too complicated, or delivered at a speed in videos that's too fast for beginners. My goal is to bridge that gap: simple enough for beginners, detailed enough for intermediate users who want to level up.

I've taught Photoshop and Lightroom in classrooms to beginners for 16 years, so I've seen how they learn and areas they struggle with. I've had great feedback from learners on the quality of my handouts, so I've looked to replicate that here.

What’s Coming Next

  • More Lightroom Library and Develop tutorials
  • Photoshop workflow guides for real‑world editing
  • A Tools A–Z for Lightroom, that matches the that free downloadable Interactive PDF for Photoshop tools I've created.
  • Behind‑the‑scenes posts about how I build this site

Thanks for being here — this is just the beginning.
